Duryodhana’s Post-Duel Lament and Instructions (भग्नसक्थस्य विलापः)
शीघ्रं गच्छ महाबाहो पाण्डवान् परिपालय । भूयस्त्वया समेष्यामि क्षिप्रमेव जनार्दन,यह सुनकर गान्धारीसहित महाबाहु धृतराष्ट्रने केशिहन्ता केशवसे कहा--“महाबाहु जनार्दन! आप शीघ्र जाइये और पाण्डवोंकी रक्षा कीजिये। मैं पुनः शीघ्र ही आपसे मिलूँगा'
vaiśampāyana uvāca |
śīghraṁ gaccha mahābāho pāṇḍavān paripālaya |
bhūyas tvayā sameṣyāmi kṣipram eva janārdana ||
Vaiśampāyana sprach: „Geh eilends, o du mit den mächtigen Armen, und beschütze die Pāṇḍavas. Sehr bald werde ich dir wieder begegnen, o Janārdana.“
