Indratīrtha–Ādityatīrtha: Balarāma’s Ritual Bathing, Dāna, and Sacred-Historical Recollections

सिद्धदेवर्षिदयितं नाम्ना बदरपाचनम्‌ | “तब विशाल एवं अरुण नेत्रोंवाली अरुन्धतीने सप्तर्षियोंकी सभामें महादेवजीसे कहा --“भगवान्‌ यदि मुझपर प्रसन्न हैं तो यह स्थान बदरपाचन नामसे प्रसिद्ध होकर सिद्धों और देवर्षियोंका प्रिय एवं अद्भुत तीर्थ हो जाय ।। तथास्मिन्‌ देवदेवेश त्रिरात्रमुषित: शुचि:

siddhadevarṣidayitaṃ nāmnā badarapācanam | tathāsmin devadeveśa trirātram uṣitaḥ śuciḥ |

Vaiśampāyana sprach: Jener Ort wurde unter dem Namen Badarapācana bekannt, geliebt von den Siddhas und den göttlichen Sehern. Und dort, o Herr der Götter, verweilte die Reine drei Nächte lang—und so wurden Heiligkeit und Ruhm des Ortes begründet, als wunderbares Pilgerheiligtum, geboren aus Hingabe und göttlicher Gunst.
