ततस्तु मुनयः प्राप्ता: फलान्यादाय पर्वतात्‌ | ततः स भगवान्‌ प्रीतः प्रोवाचारुन्धतीं ततः,“तदनन्तर सप्तर्षिगण हिमालय पर्वतसे फल लेकर वहाँ आये। उस समय भगवान्‌ शंकरने प्रसन्न होकर अरुन्धतीसे कहा--:धर्मज्ञे! अब तुम पहलेके समान इन ऋषियोंके पास जाओ! धर्मको जाननेवाली देवि! मैं तुम्हारी तपस्या और नियमसे बहुत प्रसन्न हूँ

tatastu munayaḥ prāptāḥ phalāny ādāya parvatāt | tataḥ sa bhagavān prītaḥ provācāruṇdhatīṃ tataḥ |

Dann trafen die Weisen ein und brachten Früchte vom Berge. Darauf sprach der erhabene Herr (Śaṅkara), im Herzen erfreut, zu Arundhatī: „O Kennerin des Dharma, geh nun zu diesen ṛṣis, wie du es zuvor getan hast. O dharmakundige Frau, ich bin höchst zufrieden mit deiner Askese und deinen strengen Observanzen.“
