Unrestrained Battle Description and Śakuni’s Rear Assault
तथैव कृतवर्माणं शैनेय: शत्रुतापन:
tathaiva kṛtavarmāṇaṃ śaineyaḥ śatrutāpanaḥ
Sañjaya sprach: Ebenso trat Śaineya — berühmt als der, der die Feinde versengt — auch Kṛtavarmā entgegen. Die Erzählung hebt die unerbittliche Gegenseitigkeit der Schlacht hervor: Jeder Krieger findet eine Antwort in Gestalt einer neuen Herausforderung, und Tüchtigkeit wird an Standhaftigkeit inmitten eskalierender Gewalt gemessen.
