Shloka 22

यथावत्‌ प्रतिपद्येथा: काले काले युधिष्ठिर । आपूृष्टोडसीह कौन्तेय स्वस्ति प्राप्रुहि भारत

yathāvat pratipadyethāḥ kāle kāle yudhiṣṭhira | āpṛṣṭo ’smiha kaunteya svasti prāpruhi bhārata ||

Vidura sprach: „Yudhiṣṭhira, zu jeder rechten Zeit handle, wie es sich ziemt—indem du in jeder Lage deine rechtmäßige Pflicht erkennst, besonders wenn Widerwärtigkeit aufkommt und wenn Dharma und Artha (materielles Wohl) unter Druck geraten. O Sohn der Kuntī, Nachkomme Bharatas, ich habe gesagt, was zu sagen war; nun nehme ich Abschied. Mögest du Wohlergehen und gutes Vorzeichen erlangen, frei von Krankheit. Wenn du sicher aus dem Wald zurückkehrst, werde ich dich wiedersehen.“
