Śakrasya Divyā Sabhā
Indra’s Radiant Assembly Hall
एषा सभा मया राजन् दृष्टा पुष्करमालिनी । शतक्रतोर्महाबाहो याम्यामपि सभां शृणु,महाबाहु नरेश! शतक्रतु इन्द्रकी यह कमल-मालाओंसे सुशोभित सभा मैंने अपनी आँखों देखी है। अब यमराजकी सभाका वर्णन सुनो
eṣā sabhā mayā rājan dṛṣṭā puṣkaramālinī | śatakrator mahābāho yāmyām api sabhāṃ śṛṇu ||
Nārada sprach: „O König, diese mit Lotusgirlanden geschmückte Versammlungshalle — die des Śatakratu (Indra) — habe ich mit eigenen Augen gesehen. Nun aber, o Herrscher mit mächtigen Armen, höre auch die Beschreibung der Halle Yamas.“
