Maya’s Construction of the Assembly Hall
सा वै शतसहस्नस्य सम्मिता शत्रुधातिनी । अनुरूपा च भीमस्य गाण्डीवं भवतो यथा,'शत्रुओंका संहार करनेवाली वह गदा अकेली ही एक लाख गदाओंके बराबर है। जैसे गाण्डीव धनुष आपके योग्य है, वैसे ही वह गदा भीमसेनके योग्य होगी
sā vai śatasahasrasya sammitā śatrudhātinī | anurūpā ca bhīmasya gāṇḍīvaṃ bhavato yathā ||
Vaiśampāyana sprach: „Jene Keule, Verderberin der Feinde, ist für sich allein hunderttausend Keulen gleich. Und wie der Bogen Gāṇḍīva dir gebührt, so wird auch jene Keule Bhīmasena gebühren.“
