अलोलुप: शल: सन्धो वातवेगसुवर्चसौ । एते समेत्य सहिता भ्रातृव्यसनकर्शिता:

Transliteration

alolupaḥ śalaḥ sandho vātavegasuvarcasau | ete sametya sahitā bhrātṛvyasanakarśitāḥ ||

Translation

Sanjaya sprach: Alolupa, Śala, Sandha und die beiden—Vātavega und Suvarcas—kamen gemeinsam als geschlossener Trupp, angetrieben und zermürbt von dem Unheil, das ihre Feinde über sie gebracht hatten. In der düsteren moralischen Atmosphäre des Krieges zeigt ihr Zusammenschluss, wie Feindschaft und Verlust Krieger zu Bündnissen und erneuter Gewalt zwingen.
