Transliteration

sa pṛṣṭaḥ kauśikaḥ satyaṃ vacanaṃ tān uvāca ha

Translation

Als man ihn befragte, sprach Kauśika zu ihnen ein wahres Wort—und hielt die Ethik der Wahrhaftigkeit selbst unter Druck aufrecht, wodurch die moralische Spannung zwischen Wahrheitsspruch und Schadensverhütung sichtbar wird.
