शूराणां हर्षजननो भीरूणां भयवर्धन: । द्यावापृथिव्योर्विवरं पूरयामास सर्वतः:,वह कोलाहल शूरवीरोंका हर्ष और कायरोंका भय बढ़ानेवाला था। वह आकाश और पृथ्वीके बीचमें सब ओर व्याप्त हो गया

Transliteration

śūrāṇāṁ harṣajanano bhīrūṇāṁ bhayavardhanaḥ | dyāvāpṛthivyor vivaraṁ pūrayāmāsa sarvataḥ ||

Translation

Sañjaya sprach: „Jener Tumult, der die Herzen der Tapferen erfreute und den Schrecken der Furchtsamen mehrte, breitete sich überall aus und erfüllte den ganzen Raum zwischen Himmel und Erde.“
