वेगेनाभ्यपतत् क्रुद्ध: सैन्धवस्य महद् बलम् | यह देख अर्जुनकुमारने अपने पैने बाणोंद्वारा उन सबको घायल करके भगा दिया और क्रोधमें भरकर बड़े वेगसे जयद्रथकी विशाल सेनापर धावा किया

Sañjaya sprach: Von Zorn entbrannt stürmte er mit großer Geschwindigkeit vor und fiel über das mächtige Heer Jayadrathas, des Königs von Sindhu, her. Als Arjunas Sohn die feindliche Schlachtordnung sah, verwundete er sie alle mit scharfen Pfeilen, trieb sie zurück und, von Grimm erfüllt, stieß er gegen das weite Heer vor, das Jayadratha schirmte.
