Shloka 21

ईदृशै: स महादेव: पूज्यमानो महेश्वर: । स शिवस्तात तेजस्वी प्रसादाद्‌ याति तेडग्रत:,ऐसे स्वरूपवाले वे सभी पार्षद महान्‌ देवता भगवान्‌ शंकरकी सदा ही पूजा किया करते हैं। तात! उन तेजस्वी पुरुषके रूपमें वे भगवान्‌ शंकर ही कृपा करके तुम्हारे आगे- आगे चलते हैं

īdṛśaiḥ sa mahādevaḥ pūjyamāno maheśvaraḥ | sa śivastāta tejasvī prasādād yāti te 'grataḥ ||

Vyāsa sprach: «So von solchen Gefolgsleuten verehrt, schreitet jener Große Gott—Mahādeva, der höchste Herr—aus seiner Gnade vor dir her. Mein Kind, es ist Śiva selbst, strahlend in jener männlichen Gestalt, der dir vorausgeht, um zu führen und zu schützen.»
