ईदृशश्व महादेवो भूयांश्न भगवानज: । न हि सर्वे मया शक््या वक्तुं भगवतो गुणा:
īdṛśaś ca mahādevo bhūyāṁś ca bhagavān ajaḥ | na hi sarve mayā śakyā vaktuṁ bhagavato guṇāḥ ||
Vyāsa sprach: „So ist wahrlich Mahādeva—immer größer, der Selige, der Ungeborene. Denn es ist mir nicht möglich, alle Eigenschaften jenes Herrn vollständig zu schildern.“
