द्रोणं प्रति महाराज विराटश्नैव संयुगे । महाराज! इसके बाद राजा ट्रुपद और विराटने द्रोणाचार्यपर समरांगणमें क्रोधपूर्वक बाणोंकी वर्षा आरम्भ कर दी

Transliteration

sañjaya uvāca |

droṇaṃ prati mahārāja virāṭaś caiva saṃyuge |

Translation

Sañjaya sprach: O großer König! Mitten im Kampf wandte sich auch Virāṭa gegen Droṇa; und danach, vom Zorn erfasst, begannen die Könige Drupada und Virāṭa, Droṇācārya auf dem Schlachtfeld mit Pfeilsalven zu überschütten.
