Shloka 2736

श्रेयसस्त्वद्धिते युक्तांस्तत्तद्‌ वक्तुमिहेच्छसि । “तुम निष्ठर और पापपूर्ण विचार रखनेवाले हो; अतः तुम्हारे मनमें सबपर संदेह बना रहता है, इसीलिये तुम्हारे हितमें ही तत्पर रहनेवाले श्रेष्ठ पुरुषोंको भी तुम ऐसी-ऐसी बातें सुनानेकी इच्छा रखते हो

śreyasastvaddhite yuktāṁstattad vaktum ihecchasi |

Sañjaya sprach: „Du willst hier dies und jenes an Rat aussprechen, sogar zu jenen edlen Männern, die deinem Wohl und dem wahrhaft Heilsamen ergeben sind — weil dein Geist verhärtet und von sündhaftem Vorsatz befleckt ist und du daher jedem misstraust.“
