Transliteration

tataḥ pravavṛte yuddhe śrānnavāhanasainikam

Translation

Sañjaya sprach: Dann, als die Schlacht anschwoll, griff das Kämpfen auf die Reihen erschöpfter Krieger und ihrer Reittiere über und zog Menschen wie Gespanne gleichermaßen in das zermalmende Gedränge des Krieges hinein.
