Shloka 5

नूनं बुद्धिविहीनश्चवाप्पसहायश्व मे सुतः । शत्रुभिव्य॑सित: पाप: कथं नु स जयेदरीन्‌,निश्चय ही मेरा पुत्र दुर्योधन बुद्धिहीन और असहाय है। शत्रुओंने उसे ठग लिया। अब वह पापी अपने शत्रुओंपर कैसे विजय पा सकता है?

nūnaṃ buddhivihīnaś ca vā apasahāyaś ca me sutaḥ | śatrubhir vyasitaḥ pāpaḥ kathaṃ nu sa jayed arīn ||

Vāyu sprach: „Gewiss ist mein Sohn ohne Urteilskraft und steht nun ohne Beistand da. Von den Feinden getäuscht und überlistet—wie sollte jener Sünder noch den Sieg über seine Gegner erringen?“
