अदृश्यत तदा तत्र पुनरुन्मज्जितोडन्यत: । फिर पृथ्वीको फाड़कर वह पानीमें डूब गया और दूसरी जगह पुनः जलसे ऊपर आकर दिखायी देने लगा
adṛśyata tadā tatra punar unmajjito 'nyataḥ |
Sañjaya sprach: In jenem Augenblick verschwand es dort aus dem Blick; dann, nachdem es untergetaucht war, erschien es anderswo wieder und stieg erneut über die Wasser empor — eine geheimnisvolle, schwer fassbare Bewegung, die inmitten des Kriegslärms die gewöhnliche Wahrnehmung verwirrt.
