Droṇa’s Rebuke to Duryodhana after Jayadratha’s Fall (द्रोणेन दुर्योधनं प्रति प्रत्युक्तिः)
पार्थिवानां समेतानां बहून्यासन् नरोत्तम | तदबले पाण्डवानां च सहस्राणि शतानि च,नरश्रेष्ठ आपकी और पाण्डवोंकी सेनाओंमें सब ओरसे एकत्र हुए भूमिपालोंके सैकड़ों और हजारों दल थे
sañjaya uvāca |
pārthivānāṃ sametānāṃ bahūny āsan narottama |
tad-bale pāṇḍavānāṃ ca sahasrāṇi śatāni ca ||
Sañjaya sprach: O Bester der Menschen, ringsum standen zahlreiche Kontingente versammelter Könige; und in jenem Heer waren auch die Kräfte der Pāṇḍavas zu Hunderten und zu Tausenden aufgestellt.
