Dhṛtarāṣṭra–Saṃjaya Dialogue; Account of Sātyaki vs Alambusa
सात्यकिश्वाभ्यगात् तस्मात् स तु भीममुपाद्रवत् | युयुधानो5पि राजेन्द्र भोजानीकाद् विनि:सृतः
sātyakiś cābhyagāt tasmāt sa tu bhīmam upādravat | yuyudhāno 'pi rājendra bhojānīkād viniḥsṛtaḥ ||
Sañjaya sprach: Auch Sātyaki rückte von dort vor; doch dann stürmte er auf Bhīma los. Und ebenso Yuyudhāna — o König — brach aus dem Bhoja-Kontingent hervor und drängte in die Schlacht.
संजय उवाच
In the midst of war, renowned warriors act under the pressure of kṣatriya-duty and strategic necessity; the verse underscores how resolve and discipline are tested when allies and equals are compelled to clash, demanding courage without losing moral restraint.
Sañjaya reports that Sātyaki advances and then charges at Bhīma; he further notes that Yuyudhāna (i.e., Sātyaki) has emerged from the Bhoja contingent, indicating a forceful breakout and renewed engagement in the battle line.
