तमभ्ययादू बृहत्क्षत्र: केकयानां महारथ: । प्रवपन् निशितान् बाणान् महेन्द्राशनिसंनिभान्,केकयदेशके महारथी वीर बृहत्क्षत्रने महेन्द्रके वज़्के समान तीखे बाणोंकी वर्षा करते हुए वहाँ द्रोणाचार्यपर धावा किया
tam abhyayād bṛhatkṣatraḥ kekayānāṁ mahārathaḥ | pravapan niśitān bāṇān mahendrāśani-sannibhān ||
Sañjaya sprach: Da stürmte Bṛhatkṣatra, der große Wagenheld der Kekayas, heran und überschüttete den Gegner mit scharfen Pfeilen, Indras Donnerkeil gleich.
