Transliteration

tataste ’pi naravyāprāḥ pārtha sarve mahārathāḥ

Translation

Sañjaya sprach: Dann rückten auch jene mächtigen Wagenkämpfer vor—Männer, ganz in das Gedränge der Schlacht verstrickt—, o Pārtha, allesamt berühmt als große Streiter. Die Zeile hebt die gemeinsame Entschlossenheit und die kriegerische Pflicht hervor, die die Kämpfer vorantreibt, während die moralische Last des Krieges sich weiter vertieft.
