Kaurava–Pāṇḍava Readiness
म्लेच्छाश्चार्याश्व ये तत्र ददृशु: शुश्रुवुस्तथा । वृत्तं तत् पाण्डुपुत्राणां रुरुदुस्ते सगद्गदा:,वहाँ जिन-जिन म्लेच्छों और आर्योंने पाण्डवोंका वह बर्ताव देखा तथा सुना, वे सब गद्गदकण्ठ होकर रोने लगे
mlecchāś cāryāś ca ye tatra dadṛśuḥ śuśruvus tathā | vṛttaṃ tat pāṇḍuputrāṇāṃ rurudus te sa-gadgadāḥ ||
Sañjaya sprach: Diejenigen, die dort waren—Mlecchas wie Āryas—und die jenes Verhalten der Söhne Pāṇḍus sahen und ebenso davon hörten, brachen alle in Tränen aus, die Stimme vom Gefühl erstickt.
