Adhyāya 51: Kṛṣṇa’s Leave-Taking and Departure for Dvārakā (द्वारकागमनानुमति)

पूर्वमप्येतदेवोक्त युद्धकाल उपस्थिते । मया तव महाबाहो तस्मादत्र मन: कुरु,महाबाहो! पहले भी मैंने युद्धकाल उपस्थित होनेपर यही उपदेश तुमको सुनाया था। इसलिये तुम इसमें मन लगाओ

pūrvam apy etad evoktaṃ yuddhakāla upasthite | mayā tava mahābāho tasmād atra manaḥ kuru ||

O du Starkarmige, eben diesen Rat habe ich dir schon früher gegeben, als die Stunde der Schlacht herannahte. Darum richte jetzt deinen Geist auf diese Lehre: nimm sie dir zu Herzen und handle mit Standhaftigkeit.
