गोमूल्यनिर्णयः — The Determination of Value through the Cow

गोब्राह्मणाय साहाय्य॑ कुर्वाणा वै न संशय: । आनुृशंस्यमनुक्रोश: सत्यवाक्यं तथा क्षमा
gobrāhmaṇāya sāhāyyaṁ kurvāṇā vai na saṁśayaḥ | ānṛśaṁsyam anukrośaḥ satyavākyaṁ tathā kṣamā puruṣasiṁha |
Bhīṣma sprach: Es besteht kein Zweifel, dass selbst Menschen gemischter Herkunft wahre geistige Läuterung erlangen können, wenn sie Kühen und Brāhmaṇas beistehen, grausame Taten aufgeben, allen Mitgefühl erweisen, wahrhaftig sprechen und Vergebung üben. O Löwe unter den Menschen, ein solches Verhalten—gegründet auf Barmherzigkeit, Wahrheit und Duldsamkeit—öffnet den Weg zu höherem Heil.
