Tīrtha-vaṃśa Upadeśa: Instruction on the Fruits of Sacred Waters
ब्राह्मणानां गवां चैव कन्यानां च युधिष्ठिर । येडन्तरं यान्ति कार्येषु ते वै निरयगामिन:,युधिष्ठिर! जो बाह्मण, गौ तथा कन्याओंके लिये हितकर कार्यमें विघ्न डालते हैं, वे भी अवश्य ही नरकगामी होते हैं
brāhmaṇānāṁ gavāṁ caiva kanyānāṁ ca yudhiṣṭhira | ye ’ntaraṁ yānti kāryeṣu te vai nirayagāminaḥ ||
Bhīṣma sprach: „O Yudhiṣṭhira, wer in Angelegenheiten, die dem Wohl der Brāhmaṇas, der Kühe und der unverheirateten Mädchen dienen, Hindernisse errichtet oder sich störend einmischt—der ist gewiss zur Hölle bestimmt.“
