लम्बनो लम्बितोष्ठ क्ष महामाय: पयोनिधि: । महादन्तो महादंष्टो महाजिह्दो महामुख:
lambano lambitoṣṭhaḥ kṣa mahāmāyaḥ payonidhiḥ | mahādanto mahādaṁṣṭro mahājihvo mahāmukhaḥ ||
Vāyu-deva sprach: „Er ist die Stütze zahlloser kosmischer Sphären; mit weit gespannten Lippen, um zur Zeit der Auflösung das ganze All zu verschlingen; der Große Verzauberer; der Milchozean selbst; mit mächtigen Zähnen und gewaltigen Fangzähnen; mit großer Zunge und ungeheurem Mund.“
