Shloka 11

सा च तीव्रं तपस्तेपे महाभागा यशस्विनी । उतथ्यार्थ तु चार्वज्ी परं नियममास्थिता

sā ca tīvrāṁ tapas tepe mahābhāgā yaśasvinī | utathyārthaṁ tu cārv-aṅgī paraṁ niyamam āsthitā ||

Und sie — ruhmreich und hochbegnadet — nahm strenge Askese auf sich. Um Utathya als Gatten zu erlangen, ergriff die schöngegliederte Frau die höchste Zucht der Selbstbeherrschung und begann eine intensive Buße.
