Adhyāya 138: Vāyu’s Exempla on Brāhmaṇa-Prabhāva and a Cosmological Clarification
महाप्रभावा वरदा वरं दद्युरुपासिता: । ता गावोअस्यानुमन्यन्ते सर्वकर्मसु यत् फलम्
mahāprabhāvā varadā varaṁ dadyur upāsitāḥ | tā gāvo ’syānumanyante sarvakarmasu yat phalam ||
Maheśvara sprach: „Kühe besitzen gewaltige geistige Wirkkraft und sind Spenderinnen von Gaben. Wenn man sie verehrt und ihnen dient, gewähren sie die ersehnten Segnungen. In allen Vorhaben: welchen Ertrag ein Mensch auch begehrt, jene Kühe stimmen zu—und schenken Gunst, damit das Gewollte sich erfüllt.“
