Umā–Maheśvara-saṃvāda: Varṇa-bhraṃśa, Ācāra (Vṛtta), and Karmic Ascent/Decline
Certain grave wrongs carry consequences so severe that ordinary expiations (niṣkṛti) are not considered sufficient; moral accountability extends beyond a single lifetime.
Dharma is delivering a stern judgment about the fate of a wrongdoer: prolonged torment in hell and the denial of any recognized atonement, underscoring the seriousness of the offense under discussion in this section.
