Householder Duties and Daily Offerings
मनुष्येभ्य इति प्राहुर्बलिं द्वारि गृहस्य वै । मरुदभ्यो दैवतेभ्यश्व बलिमन्तर्गहे हरेत्
manuṣyebhya iti prāhur baliṃ dvāri gṛhasya vai | marudbhyo daivatebhyaś ca baliṃ antargṛhe haret ||
Vāyu sprach: „Man sagt, die Gabe (bali), die den Menschen gilt, solle an der Haustür niedergelegt werden. Doch die Gabe, die den Maruts und anderen göttlichen Wesen bestimmt ist, soll im Innern des Hauses dargebracht werden.“
