भुमन्यु: खलु दाशाहीमुपयेमे विजयां नाम । तस्यामस्य जज्ञे सुहोत्र:,भुमन्युने दशार्हकन्या विजयासे विवाह किया; जिसके गर्भसे सुहोत्रका जन्म हुआ

Transliteration

Bhumanyuḥ khalu dāśārhīm upayeme Vijayāṃ nāma | tasyām asya jajñe Suhotraḥ |

Translation

Vaiśampāyana sprach: Bhumanyu nahm wahrhaft eine Dāśārha-Jungfrau namens Vijayā zur Frau. Von ihr wurde ihm ein Sohn geboren, Suhotra genannt. Der Vers setzt die dynastische Erzählung fort und betont die Rechtmäßigkeit der Linie durch rechtmäßige Ehe und Nachkommenschaft.
