Chitrāṅgada’s duel with the Gandharva and Vicitravīrya’s consecration
एवंविधाश्षाप्यपरे देवकल्पा महारथा: । जाता मनोरन्ववाये ऐलवंशविवर्धना:,ऐसे ही और भी कितने ही देवतुल्य महारथी मनुवंशमें उत्पन्न हुए थे, जो महाराज पुरूरवाके वंशकी वृद्धि करनेवाले थे
evaṃvidhāś cāpy apare devakalpā mahārathāḥ | jātā manor anvavāye ailavaṃśavivardhanāḥ ||
Vaiśampāyana sprach: „Auch viele andere große Wagenkämpfer—göttergleich an Kraft—wurden im Geschlecht Manus geboren, und sie wurden zu Mehrern der Aila‑Dynastie (des Pūruravas).“
