ययातिरुवाच युष्मानेते वहिष्यन्ति रथा: पञ्च हिरण्मया: । उच्चै: सन्त: प्रकाशन्ते ज्वलन्तो5ग्निशिखा इव,ययाति बोले--ऊपर आकाशमें स्थित प्रज्वलित अग्निकी लपटोंके समान जो पाँच सुवर्णमय रथ प्रकाशित हो रहे हैं, ये आपलोगोंको ही स्वर्गमें ले जायँगे

yayātir uvāca yuṣmān ete vahiṣyanti rathāḥ pañca hiraṇmayāḥ | uccaiḥ santaḥ prakāśante jvalanto ’gniśikhā iva ||

Yayāti sprach: „Diese fünf goldenen Wagen werden euch tragen. Hoch am Himmel leuchten sie strahlend, lodernd wie Feuerzungen.“
