Speech-Ethics and Forbearance in the Celestial Court
राज्ञा पुत्रफलं देयमिति मे निश्चिता मतिः । अपीदानीं स धर्मात्मा इयान्मे दर्शनं रह:,“मेरे याचना करनेपर राजा मुझे पुत्ररूप फल दे सकते हैं, इस बातका मुझे पूरा विश्वास है; परंतु कया वे धर्मात्मा नरेश इस समय मुझे एकान्तमें दर्शन देंगे?”
rājñā putraphalaṁ deyam iti me niścitā matiḥ | apīdānīṁ sa dharmātmā iyān me darśanaṁ rahaḥ ||
Śarmiṣṭhā sprach: „Ich bin fest überzeugt: Wenn ich meine Bitte vorbringe, kann der König mir die Frucht eines Sohnes gewähren. Doch wird jener dharmische Herrscher mir gerade jetzt eine geheime, ungestörte Audienz geben?“
