Duḥṣanta–Śakuntalā: Gandharva Marriage and Succession Condition
चक्रतुर्नामधेयं च तस्य बालस्य तावुभौ । दम्पती वसुषेणेति दिक्षु सर्वासु विश्वुतम्,उन दोनों दम्पतिने उस बालकका नाम वसुषेण रखा। वह सम्पूर्ण दिशाओंमें भलीभाँति विख्यात था
cakratur nāmadheyaṃ ca tasya bālasya tāv ubhau | dampatī vasuṣeṇeti dikṣu sarvāsu viśrutam ||
Vaiśaṃpāyana sprach: Die beiden, Mann und Frau, gaben dem Knaben auch einen Namen — Vasuṣeṇa. So wurde er in allen Himmelsrichtungen bekannt.
