King Duḥṣanta’s Entry into the Forest Hunt
यः पुमानभवत् तत्र तं स राजर्षिसत्तम: | वसुर्वसुप्रदश्चक्रे सेनापतिमरिन्दम:,उनमें जो पुरुष था, उसे शत्रुओंका दमन करनेवाले धनदाता राजर्षिप्रवर वसुने अपना सेनापति बना लिया
yaḥ pumān abhavat tatra taṃ sa rājarṣisattamaḥ | vasur vasupradaś cakre senāpatim arindamaḥ ||
Vaiśampāyana sprach: Von ihnen machte Vasu—der vorzüglichste königliche Weise, berühmt als Spender von Reichtum und Bezwinger der Feinde—den Knaben zum Heerführer.
