अभिमन्यु: सुभद्रायामर्जुनादभ्यजायत । स्वस्त्रीयो वासुदेवस्य पौत्र: पाण्डोर्महात्मन:,अर्जुनद्वारा सुभद्राके गर्भसे अभिमन्युका जन्म हुआ। वह महात्मा पाण्डुका पौत्र और भगवान् श्रीकृष्णका भानजा था
abhimanyuḥ subhadrāyām arjunād abhyajāyata | svastrīyo vāsudevasya pautraḥ pāṇḍor mahātmanaḥ ||
Dāśa sprach: „Abhimanyu wurde Subhadrā von Arjuna geboren. Er war der Neffe Vāsudevas (Kṛṣṇas), als Sohn seiner Schwester, und der Enkel des großherzigen Pāṇḍu.“
