स चकार सभा दिव्यां सर्वरत्नसमाचिताम् | तस्यां दुर्योधनो मन्दो लोभ॑ चक्रे सुदुर्मति:,इससे संतुष्ट होकर उसने अर्जुनके लिये एक दिव्य सभाभवनका निर्माण किया, जो सब प्रकारके रत्नोंसे सुशोभित था। खोटी बुद्धिवाले मूर्ख दुर्योधनके मनमें उस सभाको ले लेनेके लिये लोभ पैदा हुआ
sa cakāra sabhāṁ divyāṁ sarvaratnasamācitām | tasyāṁ duryodhano mando lobhaṁ cakre sudurmatī ||
Er ließ eine wundersame Versammlungshalle errichten, geschmückt mit Edelsteinen aller Art. Als Duryodhana, stumpfen Sinnes und von verkehrtem Verstand, diese Halle sah, wurde er von Gier ergriffen und begehrte, sie sich anzueignen.
