Aṃśāvataraṇa-kathana (Catalog of Divine/Asuric Portions in Human Births) — Chapter 61

प्रमाणकोट्यां संसुप्तं पुनर्बद्ध्वा वृकोदरम्‌ । तोयेषु भीम॑ गंगाया: प्रक्षिप्प पुरमाव्रजत्‌,फिर दुर्योधनने गंगाके प्रमाणकोटि नामक तीर्थपर सोये हुए भीमसेनको बाँधकर गंगाजीके गहरे जलमें डाल दिया और स्वयं चुपचाप नगरमें लौट आया

pramāṇakoṭyāṃ saṃsuptaṃ punarbaddhvā vṛkodaram | toyeṣu bhīmaṃ gaṅgāyāḥ prakṣipya puram āvrajat ||

Vaiśampāyana sprach: Als er Vṛkodara (Bhīma) bei Pramāṇakoṭī schlafend fand, band er ihn erneut und warf Bhīma in die tiefen Wasser der Gaṅgā; dann kehrte er schweigend in die Stadt zurück.
