Jaratkāru’s Conditional Marriage Vow and Vāsuki’s Offer

Educational Q&A

Anger is portrayed as a direct destroyer of hard-earned moral and spiritual merit; without dharma, one cannot reach an auspicious or desired destiny.

Śamīka delivers a moral warning, emphasizing that even ascetics who have accumulated merit through austerity can lose it through anger, and that loss of dharma leads to an unfavorable outcome.
