Jaratkāru’s Conditional Marriage Vow and Vāsuki’s Offer (जरत्कारु-विवाह-नियमः)

सम्मन्त्रय मन्सत्रिभिश्वैव स तथा मन्त्रतत्त्ववित्‌ प्रासादं कारयामास एकस्तम्भं सुरक्षितम्‌,मन्त्र-तत्त्वके ज्ञाता महाराजने मन्त्रियोंसे सलाह करके एक ऊँचा महल बनवाया; जिसमें एक ही खंभा लगा था। वह भवन सब ओरसे सुरक्षित था

sammantrya mantribhiś caiva sa tathā mantratattvavit | prāsādaṃ kārayāmāsa ekastambhaṃ surakṣitam ||

Als Kenner der Staatskunst und des innersten Wesens des Rates beriet er sich zunächst mit seinen Ministern; dann ließ er einen hohen Palast errichten, ringsum gesichert, bemerkenswert dadurch, dass er nur eine einzige Säule hatte.
