एतस्मिन्नन्तरे चापि गरुड: काल आगते । विना मात्रा महातेजा विदार्याण्डमजायत,इसी बीचमें समय पूरा होनेपर महातेजस्वी गरुड माताकी सहायताके बिना ही अण्डा फोड़कर बाहर निकल आये

Transliteration

etasminn antare cāpi garuḍaḥ kāla āgate | vinā mātrā mahātejā vidāryāṇḍam ajāyata ||

Translation

Śaunaka sprach: Indessen, als die bestimmte Zeit gekommen war, sprengte der mächtige, strahlende Garuḍa—ohne jede Hilfe seiner Mutter—das Ei und wurde geboren. Der Abschnitt hebt die Macht des Schicksals und der inneren Kraft hervor: Wenn die rechte Stunde schlägt, tritt das verborgene Vermögen hervor, und man kann gezwungen sein, eigenständig zu handeln, selbst ohne elterlichen Beistand.
