प्रत्युवाच मयं पार्थो जीवयन्निव भारत । भारत! उसका भययुक्त स्वर सुनकर कुन्तीकुमार धनंजयने उसे जीवनदान देते हुए कहा--'डरो मत”

Transliteration

pratyuvāca mayaṁ pārtho jīvayann iva bhārata | bhārata! tasya bhayayukta-svaraṁ śrutvā kuntīkumāro dhanañjayas tam jīvadānaṁ dadan uvāca— “mā bhaiḥ” |

Translation

Vaiśampāyana sprach: Da erwiderte Pārtha (Arjuna), als gäbe er ihm das Leben zurück, o Bhārata. Als er seine von Furcht erfüllte Stimme hörte, schenkte Dhanañjaya, Kuntīs Sohn, ihm das Leben und sprach: „Fürchte dich nicht.“
