Śārṅgakānāṃ Avināśaḥ (Why the Śārṅga Birds Were Spared) | शार्ङ्गकानामविनाशः
परिष्वज्यावदत् प्रीत्या निः:सपत्नो<स्तु ते पति: । तथैव मुदिता भद्रा तामुवाचैवमस्त्विति,उस समय द्रौपदी तुरंत उठकर खड़ी हो गयी और श्रीकृष्णकी बहिन सुभद्राको हृदयसे लगाकर बड़ी प्रसन्नतासे बोली--“बहिन! तुम्हारे पति शत्रुरहित हों।” सुभद्राने भी आनन्दमग्न होकर कहा--“बहिन! ऐसा ही हो”
parisvajyāvadat prītyā niḥsapatno 'stu te patiḥ | tathaiva muditā bhadrā tām uvācaivam astv iti ||
Sie umarmte sie voller Zuneigung, und Draupadī sprach freudig zu Subhadrā: „Schwester, möge dein Gemahl ohne Rivalen sein.“ Subhadrā, ebenfalls erfreut, erwiderte: „Schwester, so sei es.“
