एकसार्थ प्रयातासि चित्रवाहनसेवया । द्रक्ष्यामि राजसूये त्वां पुत्र पालय मा शुचः,“चित्रवाहनकी सेवाके निमित्त उन्हींके साथ राजसूययज्ञमें तुम भी चली आना। मैं वहीं तुमसे मिलूँगा। इस समय पुत्रका पालन करो और शोक छोड़ दो

ekasārtha prayātāsi citravāhana-sevayā | drakṣyāmi rājasūye tvāṁ putra pālaya mā śucaḥ ||

Vaiśampāyana sprach: „Zieh mit derselben Karawane aus, um Citravāhana zu dienen. Beim Rājasūya-Opfer werde ich dich sehen. Für jetzt aber sorge für das Kind und gräme dich nicht.“
