प्रभासे कृष्णार्जुनसमागमः तथा द्वारकाप्रवेशः | Kṛṣṇa–Arjuna Meeting at Prabhāsa and Entry into Dvārakā

एवं चतुर्मुख: स्थाणुर्महादेवो5भवत्‌ पुरा । तथा सहसनेत्रश्न बभूव बलसूदन:,इस प्रकार पूर्वकालमें अविनाशी भगवान्‌ महादेवजीके चार मुख प्रकट हुए और बलहन्ता इन्द्रके हजार नेत्र हुए

evaṁ caturmukhaḥ sthāṇur mahādevo ’bhavat purā | tathā sahasranetraś ca babhūva balasūdanaḥ ||

Nārada sagte: „So wurde in uralter Zeit der standhafte, unvergängliche Mahādeva, Sthāṇu, mit vier Antlitzen offenbar; und ebenso gelangte Indra, der Bezwinger Bālas, zu tausend Augen.“
