एकशीलसमाचारी द्विधैवैको5भवत् कृत: । तौ विवृद्धौ महावीर्यो कार्येष्वप्येकनिश्चयौं,उनके शील और आचरण एक-से थे, मानो एक ही जीवात्मा दो शरीरोंमें विभक्त कर दिया गया हो। वे महापराक्रमी दैत्य साथ-साथ बढ़ने लगे। वे प्रत्येक कार्यमें एक ही निश्चयपर पहुँचते थे
ekaśīlasamācārī dvidhaivāiko 'bhavat kṛtaḥ | tau vivṛddhau mahāvīryau kāryeṣv apy ekaniścayau ||
Nārada sprach: Ihre Wesensart und ihr Wandel waren gleich, als wäre ein einziges Wesen in zwei Körper geteilt. Jene beiden mächtigen, heldenhaften Daityas wuchsen gemeinsam heran, und selbst in ihren Unternehmungen gelangten sie zu ein und demselben Entschluss.
