This line is a colophon rather than a teaching-verse: it frames the preceding material as a completed unit focused on Yudhiṣṭhira and Nārada’s dialogue, implicitly emphasizing the Mahābhārata’s didactic method—ethical instruction (dharma) conveyed through authoritative conversation and carefully segmented narrative structure.
The text signals closure: the 207th chapter (within Ādi Parva, under the sub-section concerning Vidura’s arrival and the attainment of the kingdom) has ended, and the narrative is poised to move to the next chapter or thematic unit.
