द्रौपदी-वरण-प्रत्ययः — Intelligence Reports and the Kaurava Court’s Response
समीपतो भीममिदं शशास प्रदीयतां पाद्यमर्घ्य तथास्मै । मान्य: पुरोधा द्रुपदस्य राज्ञ- स्तस्मै प्रयोज्याभ्यधिका हि पूजा,जब विनयशील पुरोहितजी यह बात कह चुके, तब राजा युधिष्ठिरने उनकी ओर देखकर पास बैठे हुए भीमसेनको यह आज्ञा दी कि “इन्हें पाद्य और अर्घ्य समर्पित करो। ये महाराज ट्रुपदके माननीय पुरोहित हैं। अतः इनका हमें विशेष आदर-सत्कार करना चाहिये”
samīpato bhīmam idaṁ śaśāsa pradīyatāṁ pādyam arghyaṁ tathāsmai | mānyaḥ purodhā drupadasya rājñas tasmai prayojyābhyadhikā hi pūjā ||
Dṛṣṭadyumna sprach: Als er Bhīma in der Nähe sah, wies er ihn an: „Reiche ihm Wasser zum Waschen der Füße (pādya) und auch die Arghya-Gabe. Er ist der ehrwürdige Hauspriester König Drupadas; darum gebührt ihm von uns ein besonderer und gesteigerter Empfang.“
